So I am intrigued by this new Design Centre in Shanghai, 'Ausen'. Two things:
1. Name? Really? Does anyone else think Belsen automatically? Just me. Ok.
2. Why, when it's meant to be the biggest thing since (thick-cut) sliced bread, is there barely any info on it on the interweb? Do I have to get cracking with Baidu and a dictionary? Could somebody whose knowledge of Chinese is more advanced than that developed by being force-fed books on the aesthetics of oriental calligraphy as a ten year old [other side effect, homosexuality] enlighten me?

Mesenteric Ganglia
Do you get it yet? Maman?
Apropos not-of-which, stunning silk wallpapers from Mu Dae, which to be honest I just want to wear. Or rub myself against my walls I guess, but that can lead to chafing. Also convictions. Again.

"I like to cry undisturbed into the pillow and pray for the sweet release of death."
Lucy Mangan, I perhaps love you
What else is there to say really?
Other than it reminds me of the grammatically challenged interior design company called No! Cream
Whose talents sadly don't extend to understanding that their name is in fact a demand for Cream at all costs...

severe et triste
Beautiful roomset in the Design Centre magazine with a gorgeous grey maple cabinet from Decorus. Also...a gigantic magnifying glass on a stick, which is kinda awkward... but what does it all Mean!? To be fair, the magnifying glass is giving good face - I almost detect a smize (tm).
